What is it?

Challenge Book #2 is a three-year program consisting of “manageable” challenges for students who have successfully completed Challenge Book #1. Challenges start off simply and progress in difficulty as the students advance from the first year (red), to the second year (pink) to the third year (purple) section. Upon completion of Challenge Book #2, students have a strong sense of English basics along with the confidence to socially interact in fundamental English and are ready for Challenge Book #3, a special interactive book for junior high and high school students.

I have been using Challenge Book #2 and the accompanying workbook for many years, and the results have consistently impressed me. I started using Challenge Book #2 and the accompanying workbook a year ago with a group of 4 and have been very pleased with their progress. The one student who had always been hesitant to speak up on his own is now the first to raise his hand….as high as he can! The other three are comfortable enough to laugh at their mistakes which I find refreshing. When asked how they liked the books, they all responded that they were having a good time, proof that the system is working.
